My name is Marina Sandmeier, I was born and raised in Switzerland. The German language has been a big passion of mine ever since I learned how to read and write as a little girl. So some years later, I studied German Linguistics and Literature at the University of Zurich and started teaching my first students in 2014. Except for some little breaks of working full-time in communications (do not recommend) I kept on teaching. I love the exchange with my students, seeing them progress and most importantly: I love having a lot of fun while teaching this amazingly accurate language.

Since Covid-19 hit Switzerland in March 2020, I've been teaching online only. I was quite sceptical at first: I loved the personal contact with my students. But now, after almost 4 years of teaching online, I must say I definitely see the positive sides. I can be wherever you are and whenever you want. We can reschedule classes easily. And we can even talk when you're visiting your family back home, wherever that may be.
Besides working as a German language teacher, I offer various services in the field of the German language, such as translating, proofreading, creative copywriting and content production for both classic and social media.
